Bar
The bar at the Duke is historically the heart of the hotel. Generations of sailors, anglers and vacationers have patronized the "Old Duke" for a few beers on the expansive decks on the waterfront or nested around the fireplace.
The Bar has New Zealand’s own beer and wine – from Allan Scott to Felton Road we have 100 New Zealand wines to satisfy event the most discerning pallet. For those that prefer a cold beer we have 30 different beers to choose from. We also have a wide variety of spirits and non alcoholic drinks to choose from.
Rugby and other main sporting events are shown in a cozy atmosphere on week-ends on 50" flat plasma screens, concession to the future of entertainment within a comfortable environment.
