We chose the Duke of Marlborough because there is nowhere more iconic, stunning and full of history and character and it was a privilege to add our story to the collection already there. We wanted to have that small town beach feel with a bit of class – and that’s everything the Duke delivers. We were also very keen to have a special spot to visit in the years to come to celebrate our marriage, and the Duke is the perfect spot for that.
Deciding our favourite parts of the day is pretty tough! We loved all of it! We definitely loved all of your staff, they were all amazing and so nice and so professional!
One of the big things for us was just how smooth you made it for us when we got back to the duke after the ceremony. None of us had thought about food but were all very grateful when you appeared with some canapés for us. Then from there it was so easy for us in terms of the flow of the day and the last minute timings changes. We were never even remotely worried or stressed at any point which was amazing! Especially with Christie being a little bit of a stressor 😂
We also had so many compliments on the food! Both in terms of how delicious it was and also that there was more than enough food which isnt always the case.
We also loved being able to stay on site and have our guests around us for those couple of days!
Going swimming at midnight was also an epic highlight!
Our one tip for couples planning their weddings would be to enjoy it! It’s a once in a life time experience and everyone is there for your happiness – so have fun!
