It was the only venue we ever considered getting married at. We didn’t even try to reach out to any other venues, we just hoped that there was a weekend free that would work for us, which there was luckily! We’ve been coming here since we started dating, and Alisha’s grandmother lives around the corner so Russell is a very special place to us. So so easy!! The team was super hands on and helpful, we had zoom calls and endless emails that made everything super seamless. We felt so chilled out leading up to the wedding as everything was under control and sorted!
Apart from getting married to the love of my life, the food, the scenery, everything. Getting married under that beautiful tree with the ocean in the background was just way too perfect! The limoncello spritz’ paired with oysters was a taste highlight too! Plus the sunset from the wharf! Honestly I could go on forever.
Trust the experts, they’re experts for a reason. We didn’t even know what the flowers would look like really until the day, and they turned out perfectly. We had no idea how the reception would end up looking like, but that was also perfect. We had a vision, gave it to the right people, and it all exceeded our expectations!
Also enjoy it! You only get married once, don’t let people stress you out! Take time to enjoy the planning process, go shopping with your bridesmaids and your friends. Have as many brunches as you need with everyone to get the plans in order, but enjoy it all! Before you know it the day will be over and all you’ll have are the memories, don’t let them be of stressful times, let them be of the beautiful time you spend preparing for the best day of your life!
